Hi,
This is an idea that i had immediately upon moving to this neighbourhood, myself being from Europe and loving the Drive as much as i do: i think we should create a committee to make the Drive a Pedestrian-only area!
It would make the Drive even more unique and far more pleasant and safe. I believe businesses would benefit from it too, because a lot more people from all over town would enjoy strolling down the Drive...
I think we should start with weekends first, and allow the bus through. Then, when the idea proves itself enough of a success, take up that ugly asphalt and put down cobblestones instead, and make it a permanent regulation.
Sounds crazy, undoable? But it happens in all European cities... and businesses there love it, too!
