The neighbourhood of Commercial
Drive is in the east end of the city, a short ten minutes by
skytrain from downtown Vancouver. It is a glorious sight with all
it's trees, character homes, wonderfully diverse people and the
beautiful Grouse and Cypress mountains in the background.
The Drive's community is
represented by a vast array |
of cultural backgrounds. A large number
of Vancouver's Gay & Lesbian community call "The Drive"
their home. We are also known for the many vegetarians,
environmental activists and hemp lovers galore.
